Behind the Practice
My Story
My work sits at the meeting point between practical bodywork and frequency based approaches to health. I came to this field through a genuine interest in how the body heals, adapts, and responds to both physical and subtle influences. Over time, that curiosity turned into formal training in sports massage and continued study in frequency based systems.
I work with people who want to move better, feel better, and understand their bodies more clearly. Some come with sports related issues, some with long standing tension or stress, and some are simply looking for better balance and recovery. My approach is straightforward, grounded, and client focused. I aim to listen properly, assess carefully, and apply the right tools for the person in front of me rather than forcing a one size fits all method.
Alongside hands on therapy, I also work with frequency based techniques, which I see as a complementary way to support the body’s own regulatory and recovery processes. Everything I do is guided by a simple principle, support the body, do no harm, and work with what is actually there rather than what we assume should be there.
My Experience & Training
I hold the VTCT Level 4 qualification in Sports Massage, which gives me a strong clinical foundation in assessment, treatment planning, and advanced soft tissue techniques. This allows me to work confidently with both general clients and those with more complex or longer-term issues.
I am also a Spooky2 Certified Trainer, which means I have formal training in the practical use of frequency-based systems and how to apply them responsibly and methodically. This side of my work is focused on education, correct setup, and sensible, structured use rather than hype or shortcuts.
In addition to my core qualifications, I have completed continuing professional development in Pregnancy Massage, Lomi Lomi, Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Chair Massage. These have expanded both my technical range and my understanding of how different bodies, stages of life, and conditions benefit from different approaches.
I see ongoing learning as part of being a good practitioner. The body is not static, and neither is good practice. My aim is to keep refining what I do, stay grounded in proper training, and offer work that is both effective and respectful of each client’s individual needs.
